This 13 foot diameter silo, weighing in excess of 67,000 pounds, was fabricated by Pittsburgh Tank Corporation and outfitted by Chemco. At delivery it was equipped with two Chemco lime slaking systems, a dry storage area, a slurry storage tank, all associated piping, control panels, wiring and equipment. The completed silo was delivered to a power plant near Tampa, Florida by truck from our Pennsylvania facility, as an essentially complete system.
